The beauty of cloud based email….
Our office Internet went down yesterday. It’s a rare occurrence, we have dual bonded T1 lines and, our ISP experienced an area-wide outage in and around San Francisco for a couple of hours yesterday afternoon.
For us it was nothing more than an inconvenience. Our Office 365 hosted email continued to flow and our other cloud based apps remained available.
It was a nice feeling…

Job Seekers Asked For Facebook Passwords
This is an intense concept and I think it crosses the line into one’s privacy. From Facebook a potential employer can gain information on marital status, sexual orientation and a host of other questions that would be prohibited in a live interview.
In any case, since we don’t know how this will end-up, as I’ve always said – don’t put anything on the internet that you wouldn’t want to see on the front page of the NY Times….

I just installed this – seems like a novel idea. They maintain a connection to law enforcement files and will alert you if your data is found in the hands of cyber criminals by the FBI etc…
